Brought plantains with me from Congo and made salty plantain chips. Perhaps, if you ever want to make something different, you can always make this as snacks. They are super healthy.
It’s possible to find in a fruit shop.
- 2 plantains
- Olive oil
- Sea salt, flaky
Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
Use a small knife to cut lengthwise the peel. Remove the peel off the plantain.
Preferably, use a mandoline to slice the plantain as it slices perfectly.
Line a baking tray with parchment paper and place the slices on the tray.
Pour some olive oil over the plantain slices evnely to coat or otherwise they will dry.
Bake for 15 minutes or until golden.
Sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
