Baba de camelo
This perfect and creamy dessert can be your dessert during summer days!
Ingredients
- 1 can condensend milk, 397g
- 4 egg yolks
- 4 egg whites
- Toasted flaked almonds or hazelnuts for topping, optional
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 220ºC.

Put the condensed milk into a pie plate or a baking pan and cover with foil, place the plate into a larger baking pan.

Add hot water until halfway of the pie plate.

Bake for about 1h30, until it becomes caramel color and thick

Once done and cooled, transfer to a bowl where you will mix with the egg yolks.

Beat the dulce de leche with the egg yolks until it becomes smooth and creamy.

Beat the egg whites.

Fold the egg whites into the dulce de leche mixture.

Place into individual bowls and place in the fridge for at least 3 hours.

Serve with some toasted flaked almonds on top or toasted hazelnuts.
