Ingredients

  • 3 sliced ripe bananas, sliced
  • 100 g of vanilla instant pudding mix (see instructions)
  • 1.5L of milk
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (397 g)
  • Vanilla wafer cookies or ladyfinger biscuits
  • 1 Tbsp of vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3 cups of homemade whipped cream
  • Optional***
  • Melted peanut butter
  • Peanuts
  • Salted caramel
  • Grated chocolate

Instructions

In a pot, mix the vanilla instant pudding packages with the milk and simmer until it thickens.

Put in a bowl and cover with cling film on the pudding, place it in the fridge until completely cold.

Once ready it’s ready to use, whip the heavy cream using the whisk attachment for 4-5 min, until you see fluffy peaks.

Add the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt, whip until it becomes a proper whipped cream.

Fold in most of the whipped cream into the pudding mixture using a spatula, you have to mix carefully, until well combined.

Use a truffle bowl or another big bowl and create layers like : biscuits, sliced bananas, and pudding mixture; repeat until you finish all the ingredients and ending by putting dollops of whipped cream and the optional toppings.

Serve it cold!

Notes

Chill in the fridge for at least one hour. Best if consumed within 3 days because bananas don't last too much time neither the whipped cream.
