Would you say no to this panna cotta on those hot days?! 🤤
Panna Cotta with berries coulis
Ingredients
- Panna Cotta
- 375 ml of milk
- 375 ml of thick cream
- 100g granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon of powdered gelatin
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
- Red fruit coulis
- 125 ml of water
- 125 g granulated sugar
- 225 g of red fruits lightly crushed with a fork
- 1 cinnamon stick
Instructions
Panna Cotta
Grease 5 to 6 ramekins or a big mold with a little bit of oil.
Place the milk, cream, and sugar in a saucepan. Leave until it boils over low heat. Remove from the heat and put the gelatin powder in a bowl and pour a little of the hot mixture, mix well and pour back into the pan. Add the vanilla essence and mix well with a whisk.
Fill the ramekins or the mold and place in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
Red fruit coulis
In a saucepan put, the water and sugar, bring to a boil until the sugar dissolves. Then place the red berries and the cinnamon stick and bring to a boil for about 5 min.
Remove the cinnamon stick and let the coulis cool. Place in the refrigerator.
Merge the ramekins or the mold in hot water for 1 minute before unmolding on a plate.
Pour the coulis over the panna cotta and decorate it with mint leaves.
