Here at home, we all like sweet and savory flavors, gladly. This salmon is just a small exemple!
Teriyaki salmon
Ingredients
- 5 salmon fillets
- Sauce
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp of mirin
- 1/3 cup of brown sugar
- 1 crushed garlic clove
Instructions
The salmon must come to room temperature.
Lay the salmon on a foil-lined baking sheet, greased with olive oil. This will avoid the salmon to stick on the foil.
Whisk all the sauce ingredients, and drizzle on top of the salmon, brush the sauce all over the salmon fillets to coat. Fold the foil over the salmon and bake for 15 min at 200ºC.
Check if the salmon is cooked.
Open the foil and brush with left sauce on the foil and let broil for 3 minutes, until golden.
Put on top of the salmon some green onions and sesame seeds.
You can serve this with sushi rice and vegetables like bok choy, mini corn, aspargus, etc,...
Notes
If you are afraid to overcook the salmon, you can always use an oven thermometer.
